Together we will experience how our local artisans have adapted their standard products to these changed times, resulting in a unique and delightful tour with flavours that will excite you and stories that will inspire you.

The Bites in a Box tour includes:

An escorted tour with a local, specialist food guide,
A leisurely-paced walking tour in the old town centre coupled with entertaining stories about the community and its local artisans,
A visual demonstration at an innovative coffee laboratory together with delightfully, handcrafted confections (tea options available),
Sample traditional favourites with a twist,
Something fresh for the immune system is always welcome,
Lactose, gluten free and vegetarian meal options are available.

Helpful tips

MEETING TIME: Your tour guide will greet you, come rain or shine, in her red apron 15 minutes before your tour starts, i.e.:
- 09h45 for 10h00 tours,
- 12h45 for 13h00 tours,
- 13h45 for 14h00 tours.
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS: We can accommodate most dietary types on most of the tours, however, it is crucial to inform us of your required dietaries.
LANGUAGES: All tours are conducted in English, but feel free to contact us for German tours except for our Kayamandi Township tour, which is conducted wholely in English to accommodate our hosts.
HEALTH PROTOCOLS: We are fully Covid-19 Protocols Compliant and will sanitize, scan temperatures and sign in. No Mask – no tour. All guests must have their temperatures recorded; 37.5 *C or higher – No tour.
